On accurate numerical solutions of Falkner-Skan equation
Abstract
Accurate numerical solutions of the Falkner-Skan equation are obtained by a numerical method of quasi-linear approximation. For various values of a parameter which measures the pressure gradient, solutions of ten decimal accuracy are obtained. For the case of a boundary layer flow along a semi-infinite flat plate, twelve decimal accuracy can be obtained.
