Signals, systems, and transforms
Abstract
The systems-theory approach to the characterization and manipulation of signals is presented in an introductory text intended for undergraduate electrical-engineering students. Chapters are devoted to signals and systems, discrete-time signals, continuous-time signals, linear operations on signals, Laplace transforms, the z-transform, transfer functions, Fourier-series representation, and the discrete Fourier transform and FFT algorithms. Diagrams, graphs, and sample problems are provided.
