Some problems and original solutions related to thermal radiation properties measurement
Abstract
Different ways of assigning the radiation properties of opaque solid materials are reviewed, taking into consideration the existing relations between the thermal radiation parameters. After a critical analysis of the limitations and problems related to the main measurement techniques used in the past, new experimental techniques allowing spectral directional emittance and bidirectional reflectance measurement are described.
