Mathematical modeling and calculation of a CW electroionization laser
Abstract
A novel method, based on the quasi-one-dimensional approximation, is developed for calculating a CW electroionization CO2 laser. In contrast to the two-dimenssional model of Koterov et al. (1981), the proposed model includes an equation for the electron energy distribution function, suitable for determining a number of important characteristics. The proposed method is used to calculate the laser described by Bondarenko et al. (1982).
