Statistical distribution of MTI improvement factor
Abstract
In this paper a simplified clutter return is used for MTI simulation. It is shown how this model produces the same correlation function and spectral density function as the ones measured from an actual radar return. This simulation program is then used to compute the statistical distribution of the improvement factor of a MTI system with binomial weights.
