Determination of crustal movements in the high Tatra Mountains
Abstract
A method of three-dimensional triangulation is used for determining the crustal movements in the region of the high mountain ridges where the geodetic leveling cannot be performed. The method is based on integrated observations of both horizontal and vertical angles, distances, spirit leveling lines, deflections of the vertical, and on combine processing of all observed data. Network design is discussed.
