Simultaneous calibration of a parts measuring camera: Example of an application from the car industry
Abstract
A reflex camera was used for parts measuring in car production lines to determine the bending behavior of the car frame during assembly. Four work stations in the line are represented with spatial point fields through bundle adjustment with simultaneous calibration of the camera. Each image is assessed monoscopically and the measured points are transformed to correct the systematic image errors. Image triangulation is performed on a computer with a bundle adjustment program. Calibration configurations with photogrammetric data are presented.
