Determination of condensation effects in moist-air flow
Abstract
A technique used to calculate the dryness required to prevent condensation and to determine the effect of condensation on Mach number and pressure at critical supercooling temperature is discussed. Equations for determining warm and cold fog formation are presented. The effect of temperature changes on condensation and how the pressure ratio and Mach number are influenced by these variations are explained. Results are valid for a stagnation temperature of about 290 K and arbitrary stagnation pressure.
