Degradation of downlink distance measurement indexes by the addition of a third tone
Abstract
The computation of downlink indexes when three tones and noise are present on the link is described. The case arises usually in failure cases, when three tones are simultaneously sent. The mathematical analysis shows the possibility to establish the modulation indexes associated to each tone once the signal to noise ratios are determined.
