Jamming analysis of a spread spectrum signal
Abstract
The effects of jamming on a code division multiple access communication system are studied. The analysis includes pure carrier frequency jamming, jamming induced by another user, and in both cases the effect of coherence of the pseudorandom sequence generators. Transmission relayed by a satellite is also examined. Perfect codes are studied and the results are extended to real codes. The results are condensed in a table giving the approximate signal to noise ratio for each case.
