Turbulence modeling in transonic interactions
Abstract
The paper presents comparisons of turbulence models implemented in a 2-D Navier-Stokes solver, for the prediction of transonic shock wave turbulent boundary-layer interactions. A mixing length model and a (k, epsilon) model are considered, and the results are compared to experimental data obtained with LDV.
