Stabilization of oscillations in M-type oscillators
Abstract
An equation for M-type oscillators (e.g., millimeter and centimeter wave magnetrons) with a closed electron flux is obtained with allowance for the reactive component of electron conductivity. The stabilization of oscillations is analyzed, and the influence of the design parameters and operating mode of the oscillator on its delay characteristics is examined. Calculation results are confirmed by an experimental study of a pulsed 3-cm-wavelength magnetron.
