Nonmultiple frequency conversion with charge-storage diodes
Abstract
The design of certain complex radio systems requires nonmultiple frequency conversion (NFC) where the frequency ratio of output and input signals is irrational. The present paper presents results of numerical and experimental studies which demonstrate that NFC can be realized using charge-storage diodes. Results are presented for 1-5-6 and 1-9-10 converters operating in the middle part of the decimeter range.
