Detection characteristics of signals fluctuating according to the Nakagami law
Abstract
Closed-form expressions are obtained for the detection characteristics of radar signals fluctuating according to the Nakagami law for cases of single and packet signals, and for slow and fast amplitude fluctuations of the packet signals. It is concluded that the derived expressions are effective for the basic packet-fluctuation models for arbitrary integral values of the distribution parameter m and the number of accumulated pulses N.
