A comparative analysis of some prediction methods for rain attenuation statistics in earth-to-space links
Abstract
The results of a comparison among six prediction methods of rain attenuation statistics developed in the United States, Europe, and Japan are presented. The models have been tested through attenuation at 11.6 GHz and rainfall data collected in Italy at Fucino, Gera Lario, and Spino d' Adda during the SIRIO experiment during 1978-1982.
