The Physics of the Quark-Gluon Plasma
Abstract
Various topics on the physics of quark-gluon plasmas are discussed. The subjects addressed include: quantum chromodynamics, bag models, equation of state, formation and decay, plasma signatures, lattice gauge theory. Also examined are: mean field theory, interactions in the plasma, global color symmetry, quark-gluon transport theory, relativistic hydrodynamics, and strangeness production.
