The correctness of an analytical solution to an inverse heat conduction problem
Abstract
By using the Laplace transform with respect to the spatial variable, analytical solutions are obtained for the boundary value inverse heat conduction problem formulated as the Cauchy problem for the exponential and polynomial approximation of the time dependence of temperature and its gradient at an internal point of a body. The correctness of a solution to the problem in terms of a class of polynomials is analyzed.
