Hankel transform domain analysis of complex resonant frequencies of double-tuned circular disc microstrip resonators/radiators
Abstract
Hankel transform domain analysis is applied to a circular double-tuned microstrip antenna with two parallel substrates and two concentric circular conductors. A center pin is inserted between the two disks to make the structure more rigid, but it can be neglected if the resonant mode to be analyzed is a quasi-TM(110) dominant mode. The method is illustrated by several numerical examples, and the results are compared with experimental data.
