The mass-distribution parameter of sporadic meteoroids
Abstract
A method for determining the mass-distribution parameter s for sporadic meteoroids is presented which takes into account differences in meteoroid density and the effect of electron attachment to neutral particles. It is shown that, in the range of masses observed by the radar-echo method (0.000001-0.01 g), sporadic meteoroids are characterized by the same distribution parameter, equal to 2.1.
