Plane waves in supergravity
Abstract
A class of exact supergravity solutions whose bosonic sector is characterized by a plane-fronted graviton wave is studied. A complex null tetrad formalism is developed from which remarkable simplifications follow indicative of the complex analytic structure of the supergravity theory. Plane waves are defined and studied, and some exact solutions are found. The latter are compared with previously known exact solutions and supergauge-generated solutions.
