Characteristics of displacement-field measurements by speckle photography
Abstract
The paper examines the basic metrological characteristics of speckle photography that make possible the suitable choice of parameters for optical recording and decoding systems. The metrological characteristics of the optical system are studied in relation to image distortion, limiting resolution, and axial displacements of the system. Theoretical results are validated experimentally. It is noted that the method examined can be used in the study of plane displacement fields corresponding to the macroscopic level of the mechanics of a deformable solid body.
