Research planning task group study-thermal destruction

The state-of-the-art of thermal destruction of industrial toxic wastes were determined, research needs in this area were identified and prioritized. Through a literature search, discussion with EPA personnel, discussions with authorities in the area of thermal destruction, and attendance at a national meeting on the subject, the state-of-the-art of thermal destruction of industrial toxic waste was determined, and research needs which are expected to provide useful results were identified.
