Orbit reconstitution
Abstract
The derivation of a satellite orbit from information concerning its position and/or velocity is introduced. A Gauss-Newton algorithm for global solution of the problem is presented. Calibration of interferometric, photographic, and S band radar systems used to measure distances and directions is outlined.
