Circular-scan photochron streak camera for spaceborne laser ranging applications
Abstract
An internally intensified circular scan streak camera with temporal resolution better than 6psec was designed for a dual-wavelength (760nm, 380nm) spaceborne laser ranging system. Results of the operation or an experimental pre-prototype version are given. Refinements to the image tube construction and the laboratory evaluation of the limiting dynamic performance of the camera are discussed.
