Investigation of electromagnetic-wave propagation in a specular slot-line
Abstract
Consideration is given to a miniature transmission line for integrated and functional microcircuits which consists of a dielectric cylinder partially shielded by a conducting screen with a longitudinal slot. Part of the screen serves as the substrate, and the slot is formed by the remaining edge of the screen and the substrate. The main characteristics of the line are determined in the framework of the quasi-static approximation, and experimental results are presented.
