Frequency dependence of the microwave signal level over the sea
Abstract
Results of experimental studies of the signal levels in the decimeter, centimeter, and millimeter bands for waves propagating over the sea surface beyond the horizon (60 km) are reported. It is found that, under the experimental conditions, the highest signal levels are obtained in the centimeter wave band.
