Slow motor: ISO round robin tests
Abstract
A test procedure for a hydraulic slow speed motor by the constant flow and torque method to be verified in Germany, France, Denmark, United States, and Japan aiming to stablish an ISO test norm is proposed. The measured parameters and the instrumentation characteristics are detailed. The experimental results show that velocity variations increase with load, and are larger at lower fluid flow for a constant torque. The variations in feed pressure are small under variations of the load torque. The conclusion is that the method could be considered a base to work set an ISO standard.
