Distribution of Stars in the Orion Barnard Loop
Abstract
From the photographic U, B, and V observations of the stars in the Orion Barnard Loop, it is found that the number of blue stars is larger on the Loop than that outside the Loop. This result suggests that stars on the Loop are younger than those outside the Loop and that the stars were formed during some explosive events which made the Loop.
