Development program: Nuclear magnetic resonance gyroscope (NMR-gyro). Phase 1: Development of an experimental model
Abstract
Development of a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMK) gyroscope is described. A low cost, low accuracy configuration of a NMR-gyro was selected. A comprehensive error model for this gyro was derived. An experimental model was constructed, and the fundamental physical process and states necessary for the functioning of the gyro were studied. The gyro is expected to become a low cost, resilient alternative to conventional gyros.
