Resonance characteristics of a dielectric sphere in a waveguide
Abstract
Relationships are obtained for the coefficient of coupling between a dielectric sphere (an open dielectric resonator) and a rectangular waveguide. Theoretical results are found to agree with experimental data concerning the H(101) and E(101) modes at frequencies of 11.4 and 11.5 GHz.
