Characteristics of cooled shielded striplines in the short-wave region of the microwave range
Abstract
The frequency dependences of the phase velocity and the attenuation coefficient of the principal mode are calculated along with the critical frequency of the first higher mode and its dependence on the geometry of the shielded microstrip line. Particular emphasis is placed on the analysis of microstrip-line characteristics in the resonance wavelength region. Calculation results are presented for a tin line at temperatures above (20 K) and below (3.5, 2.8, and 1.8 K) the superconducting transition.
