Quasi-static impedance of a thin conductor in an isotropic moving collisional plasma
Abstract
The input impedance of a thin cylindrical antenna in an isotropic moving collisional plasma is calculated in the quasi-static approximation on the basis of the convolution of the solution to the Poisson equation with respect to plane waves. It is assumed that the plasma moves along the axis of the conductor, and that forced oscillations are excited in the system; electron collisions are taken into account. The plasma is considered to be uniform and nondispersive in the accompanying reference frame.
