Analysis of a reflection-type antenna array
Abstract
An effective mathematical model is developed for an array of loaded radiators rereflecting the field of the external feed. Calculation results are presented for an antenna with elements in the form of rectangular waveguides. The analysis method makes it possible to investigate a considerable number of radiators (sufficient for practical applications) on a medium-capacity computer for small expenditures of computer time. The method is based on a special form of the mutual conductances of this type of antenna: the sum of a block-block-Toeplitz matrix of the external mutual conductances and a diagonal matrix of load conductances.
