Analysis of the efficiency of adaptive compensators in conditions of 'shimmering' noise
Abstract
The efficiency of stochastic iterative algorithms for the adjustment of compensation systems in conditions of shimmering noise is evaluated for the example of a 10-element antenna array. Expressions are obtained for the steady-state value of the weight vector in the case of periodic variations of the noise situation. It is shown that, in typical cases, the rate of gap formation in the directivity pattern in the interval of the noise effect is much greater than its rate of deformation in the interval where the nose is absent. Results of mathematical modeling confirm the expected high operational efficiency of the adaptive compensators in conditions of shimmering noise.
