The Green's function of simple regions in polar coordinates for solving electrodynamic problems
Abstract
Four different representations of the Green's function are obtained for a simple region in the form of a ring sector. A series of summation formulas is then derived by comparing these representations. The application of the Green's functions to problems in electrodynamics is illustrated by calculating the diffraction of electromagnetic waves in a rectangular waveguide bend.
