Deformation mechanism for the interaction of magnetostatic waves with conduction electrons
Abstract
A theoretical study is made of the interaction of magnetostatic waves with conduction electrons in a semiconductor through the deformation potential of the intermediate elastic wave. It is shown that this interaction is most efficient at the frequency where the spin and elastic waves intersect the dispersion curves. The interaction efficiency is estimated, and the possibility of using this effect for the frequency filtering of microwave signals is assessed.
