Optimal synthesis of microwave T-wave devices
Abstract
Numerical methods for the analysis and optimization of microwave devices with T-wave transmission lines are summarized. Results concerning the study of inhomogeneous transmission lines and the optimization of tolerances are presented. Attention is given to a large class of devices (filters, directional couplers, transformers, phase shifters, etc.) based on single and coupled transmission lines with piecewise-constant and continuously changing parameters.
