Thermal methods for the inspection of composite structures and radio-electronic components
Abstract
The physical principles of a nondestructive evaluation method based on an analysis of heat fluxes passing through the defective structures are examined. The use of heat conduction theory for solving thermal control problems is discussed, as is the use of infrared devices. Procedures for monitoring heat fluxes in radio-electronic components and for detecting internal defects in composite structures used in radio electronics are described.
