Performance of a two-link CPSK system incorporating direct phase regenerator with imperfect phase references
Abstract
The letter analyzes the performance of a two-link binary coherent phase-shift-keying (CPSK) communication system incorporating a direct phase regenerator (DPR) with imperfect carrier reference signals in the regenerator and the receiver. These references are extracted from the received signals by means of squaring loops. Additive Gaussian noise (AGN) is considered at the inputs of the DPR and the receiver.
