A study of heat and mass transfer toward spherical drops in a changing environment
Abstract
The expressions for the drop evaporation rate proposed by Ialamov et al. (1981) are used to investigate the temporal dependence of the drop radius under conditions of heat and mass transfer in a variable environment. The parameters of the environment change with time due to changes in the vapor concentration and temperature. When posed in this manner, the problem considered here is relevant to many real problems in the physics of the atmosphere.
