Fully developed laminar heat transfer in circular sector ducts with isothermal walls
Abstract
The circular sector duct forms a limiting case for internally finned tubes and is expected to be a common element in multipassage tubes. A finite difference procedure is presently used to obtain results for constant temperature in the case of the boundary condition of circular sector ducts whose half apex angle value is in the 4-90 deg range. Average Nusselt number results are presented.
