Synchronization of complex signals by acoustoelectronic convolvers
Abstract
A study is made of the synchronization of long-duration complex signals (CSs) by means of devices consisting of an acoustoelectronic convolver and coherent accumulator. A step algorithm for determining the time position of CSs on a background of white Gaussian noise is optimized according to the criterion of minimum mean time of CS detection. The sensitivity of the optimized synchronization procedure to the indeterminacy of CS parameters is evaluated.
