Field-fluctuation spectra of a wave beam during reflection in the turbulent atmosphere
Abstract
The smooth-perturbation method is used to obtain a general expression for the time spectra of the amplitude and phase fluctuations of a Gaussian-beam field during reflection from a mirror in the turbulent atmosphere. Numerical and asymptotic analyses are presented of the dependence of the spectra on the diffraction divergence and the position of the receiver with respect to the beam axis.
