Burst time plan for an SS/TDMA system (Algorithm to obtain an operational burst time plan)
Abstract
A method of burst time planning for the SS/TDMA system is presented. To handle the complicated situation, this paper proposes to partition the problem into four sub-problems, i.e., distribution of traffic among beams, distribution of traffic among frequency banks, derivation of switching sequence and the determination of final end-to-end connection. Algorithms are developed for each sub-problems and an example problem and its solution are also presented.
