Discrete spectrum of natural modes of a screened open slot line
Abstract
The method of holomorphic operator functions of one complex variable is used to prove the existence of a discrete spectrum for the nonself-adjoint boundary value problem for a system of Helmholtz equations with a nonlinear dependence on the spectral parameter, this dependence describing the propagation of electromagnetic oscillations in a screened open slot line. A determination is made of regions where this spectrum is localized on the complex plane of the spectral parameter for a line formed by a half-plane and a plane waveguide.
