A numerical solution to the equations for the dynamics of a viscous incompressible fluid containing dispersed particles
Abstract
A numerical finite-difference algorithm based on the decomposition method is proposed for solving the equations of motion of heterogeneous mixtures. The approach represents the mixtures as the aggregate of interpenetrating and interacting continuous media occupying the same space.
