The utilization of optical fibers in holography
Abstract
The utilization of optical fibers to obtain holograms of objects which are of difficult access is described. The choice of monomode or multimode fibers and the influence of the environment on the stability of the interference fringes are discussed. Several configurations of the holographic system are examined. The holograms of a vibrating plate showing the effects of all the variables studied are presented.
