A probe for direct measurements of flow direction
Abstract
The design of a two-hole incidence-angle probe with integrated miniature pressure pickups to determine flow direction is described. The test procedures used for calibration of the probe is discussed in detail. Experimentally determined results from frequency response tests suggest that this probe is best suited for determination of the flow direction of unsteady airflow.
