Approximation of atmospheric radio noise in the Arctic by the Hall model
Abstract
Data acquired over a number of years concerning the statistical characteristics of atmospheric radio noise in the eastern Arctic are examined. It is shown that the Hall model for theta = 4 represents the most adequate approximation for the envelope of atmosphere radio noise in the eastern Arctic.
