Design of waveguide dielectric filters based on beyond-the-cutoff waveguides
Abstract
An algorithm is proposed for the design of waveguide dielectric filters based on beyond-the-cutoff waveguides. This design method, based on a low-frequency ladder prototype, makes possible a high-precision calculation of the geometric dimensions of the filter, and can be implemented by simply using a microcalculator. A formula is presented for calculating dissipation losses in the filter at the resonant frequency.
